The following is the list of first 10 cities that will support that feature of Facebook includes Houston, Los Angeles, NY City, San Francisco, Boston, Miami, Chicago, Dallas, Washington, DC and Seattle. The Facebook keepers says if it works well, they will add this featured events for more cities.

Featured Events and stuff will be divided into specific groups like Music, Food, Sports and more. The Facebook keepers is adding some time frames so that you can begin scheduling your vacations festivities in advance.

Facebook’s created events and stuff will be found among other event recommendations which will be suggested to users based on an algorithm that will look at previous events, past presence and even if your friends are going or not.

India’s $4 Smartphone Begin to Ship


In the starting of this year, Indian mobile manufacturing company named Ringing Bells declared a series of extremist low budget, locally produced mobile handsets for the rural Indian market. Believe it or not, its real and started to ship on 30th of June 2016 throughout the world. The Freedom 251 supports some very boring specs when compared with other devices but it’s price is dollar four.

The handset launched on February 18th and made headlines around the world and highlight high-profile guests. One report shows that the company claimed 30,000 pre-orders on the first day of sales, pressurize them to reject orders.

This handset is dual sim and now available in size of 4-inch qHD IPS display, a processor of 1.3GHz quad-core, microSD slot available which supports upto 32 GB, camera with 3.2-megapixel rear, a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera, 1,450 mAh Li-on battery, 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of internal storage and operating system of Android 5.1 (Lollipop), Connectivity options include WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, 3G, USB 2.0, GPS and Bluetooth, and color is white only.

While talking to The Indian Express, the Ringing Bells’ CEO and Founder  Mohit Goel says

“We learned from our mistakes and determined to go silent until we come out with the product. Now we have a 4-inch, dual-SIM phone ready for delivery. I feel vindicated.”

The price-point of Freedom 251 is about RS 251, and won’t make Ringing Bell any revenue until it’s extensively popular. Goel says that Ringing Bell bears the loss of RS 151 on each device, but is

“happy that the dream of linking rural and poor Indians as the part of the ‘Digital India’ and ‘Make in India’ initiatives has been fulfilled with ‘Freedom 251’.”
