In the last report, Apple shows how important the tablet business still is for them. The Apple selling 9% less iPads from last quarter, still the return increase 7% a big thanks to higher selling price. Now, it appears that it could be launching new models to achieve market share’s left in the tablets place.
In the new report of MacRumors via well known analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, shows that three new iPads could be coming in 2017. The first ever 10.5-inch iPad is also included that can hold the middle space between the larger models. Other alternatives include new, cheaper 9.7-inch model and 12.9-inch model to sit either side.
There is no news given for the iPad Mini, he thinks the arrival of the larger size iPhones could have end the demand of the smaller tablet.
However, are the big changes that Apple has prepared for 2018. The year could see the company is disclosing a “revolutionary” model of iPad AMOLED with flexible display and “absolute” design changes. No further details were given.
For the near future, Ming-Chi Kuo drop his expectations of the current arranged shipments, declining it from 45-50 million to 35-40 million tablets, given the absence of models which are to be expected this year.
